20th Sept - Luccombe

Postby mhrluscombe on Sat Sep 20, 2008 10:16 pm

Just about to clip in and the Red Arrows turned up for Wight Air, so had to delay takeoff for 30 minutes. Used the time to clear a few brambles etc.

But what lovely conditions at Luccombe, five there, me, Dave F, Nev, john B, Fluffy, all having 2hrs or more before the tide came in too much and we top landed.

Dave managed to hop back onto Boniface for some rough stuff and most of us got to Lake and to Luccombe chine and back.

Hopefully the same tomorrow morning.

A crackin' day indeed - even the Red Arrows were impressed. :D Some more photos attached - pity no one got a photo of Nev trying to fly with the wind sock attached to his wing!!
