Another great day today. I was a bit late getting to St Cats, it had already gone too far South and too strong. Headed to Atherfield with Dave F, it was a bit West and the tide was in a bit, so little excursions to Barnes High to start with. After another hour or so the wind had increased a bit more and backed a little, and the tide gone out a bit more. A few of us headed to Blackgang, following Geoff U who had just hurtled past from the Reds. Got plenty of height at Gore cliff and Dave F pushed the limit round to the lighthouse. Headed back West very slowly (10mph) against the WSW wind, eventually i got to Freshwater up on the Whites (6mph). Got to the Golf club carpark, then turned and hurtled back to Atherfield. My first complete Blackgang run with no feet down.

For those that don't recognise it, Photo 4 is at 1000ft asl on Gore cliff, and in the distance 10 miles away can be seen the White cliffs at Freshwater, also seen in Photo 7.
